Therapy In Hell

A Zoom play presented by Fake Newspaper Theatre Company

Morgan, a disillusioned, burnt-out therapist, finds themselves sent straight to Hell after death. Instead of being tortured, however, they are thrust into becoming the face of a new initiative – therapy for demons? Will Morgan be able to help their new demonic clients when they can’t even help themself? With a cast of denizens – hellish, heavenly and otherwise – Therapy in Hell explores mental health and how it is often neglected in day-to-day life. This is a show about facing ones’ demons, both metaphorical and literal, and learning to take care of yourself and the people who rely on you. So take some time out of your daily torture program to come and treat yourself to a little therapy.

Content warnings: discussion of and depiction of death, confronting discussions regarding mental health, religious iconography (demons and angels, hell as a setting), discussion of torture, alcohol and other poisons, familial issues.

Access: This event will be live captioned.
