If you diffused indie-pop, jazz and blues in a teapot, you’d probably get something like the Darjeelings.

Formed in 2011, the band have performed at The Espy, The Evelyn, and Cherry Bar, as well as gracing the stage at Moomba 2012 and 2014. The Darjeelings launched their self-titled debut in October 2012 and have performed live on 774 ABC Melbourne on multiple occasions. With jazzy vocals influenced by the likes of Megan Washington and Ella Fitzgerald, catchy piano riffs and killer four part harmonies, put your kettle on and brew some catchy pop tunes that taste like English Breakfast and sound like Darjeeling. The Darjeelings are a Melbourne University student band supported by UMSU.
