UMSU Education Collective

Wait, what is this?
Are there things about your education that piss you off? Are you into higher ed policy? Do you froth activism, student engagement, and fighting for what you believe?

Education Action Collective is a space from 12-1 every Thursday this semester to chat about these things and more. You can meet your Education Officers, find out what they’re doing, and bring shit things (or good things) about your time at Uni. It’s a space to meet other people who are into education issues. And there’s a free lunch too, put on by the Department, so what more do you want?

Who or what is the UMSU Education Department?

We’re your peak student representatives on Education issues at this University. The Department is split into Education Academic (who advocate for better course design, assessment, student support, and otherwise deal with internal University governance) and Education Public (who run student-facing campaigns, protests and other forms of activism on higher education policy and big issues on campus). We are Georgia and Josh (Academic) and Noni and Charlie (Public). Come say hi!
