Karner Blue explores the sensory possibilities of colour in Vladimir Nabokov’s universe through creative play with light and glass. Nabokov’s synaesthesia was as central to his work in literature and lepidoptery as it is to the language of butterflies, whose scaled wings produce enchanting colours through the structural dispersal of light.
