ACCESS INFORMATION

Companion Card

Union House Theatre are affiliated with the Companion Card program.
Events staged in Union and Guild Theatre accept Companion Card. The event organiser will issue a Companion Ticket, at no charge, to cardholders who require attendant care support from a companion to attend the event.

Wheelchair Access

Union and Guild Theatres are wheelchair accessible, with seats reserved for wheelchair patrons. Please contact the event organiser or student theatre group to ensure you are booked in these reserved seats.
There is a wheelchair lifter in the Union Theatre, and our Casual Theatre Worker at the event will be able to assist you with this lifter.
There are lifts available to get to the Guild Theatre on Level 1.

Accessible Toilets

There are accessible toilets available in Union House — one on the ground floor (between Union Theatre and UMSU Info Desk), and one on Level 1 next to the Food Co-op.

Drop-offs and Accessible Parking

You can drop off audience members and performers via Tin Alley Gate 1 on Swanston St. Drive down Tin Alley and Union House is halfway down on the left.

We regret that there are only two accessible parks available outside Union House:

We recommend that you plan to make a drop off in case both accessible parks are in use. If you park in the accessible park you need to purchase a ticket from the machine and display that alongside your disabled parking permit.
