2 Comments on LAWS20008 Legal Language
This was a really interesting subject - one of my favourite law breadths. All about how different elements can affect justice, including architecture and sound. There are a range of topics to choose from for your essay and you can choose your own, meaning you can explore what ever avenue that interested you most within the subject! Great if you're a sucker for research like I am.
Incredible subject. This subject gets you to think about law in a really new way. The key question is "what does the language of law say about law?". It took 7 weeks for this subject's penny to drop for me, but when it did it was amazing. If you take this subject be ready to do some hard thinking. But you will be rewarded for the effort. The subject focuses on a different legal text each week, a judgement or an act or something like that. And it draws analysis of how the language of that text creates law in a particular way.
