This exhibition dives into the UMSU archives and George Paton Gallery collection, drawing upon the contemporary resonance of collective action. (re)Assembly illuminates the flow of actions, ideas, protest and engagement, across the student body across time, through shirts, banners, badges and posters. Supported by selections from the UMSU Art Collection’s Red Planet Poster collection, alongside documentaries and recordings, this exhibition brings together ephemera underscoring the power of student action within and beyond the Student Union.
