This information session will answer all your burning questions, such as:

  • What is an UMSU?
  • What’s so special about the General Election?
  • What positions are being elected?
  • What roles do elected student representative serve? What do they do?
  • Can I run for election? How do I do that?
  • What should I expect from election season?

Plus, plenty of opportunity to submit and/or ask us any questions you have. Nominations close at midday Friday 12 August so this session is your best opportunity to get informed before the election season truly gets underway!
