Effective Altruism

Wondering how to transition your studies into a career of impact?

Join us this Wednesday from 5:15 pm to hear from Kevin Rassool about his career journey and his various meditations on his studies, career, and altruism!

This is the perfect event for people interested in applying the principles of EA in their career but are unsure how. Even if you already have a career planned out, this is also fantastic opportunity to learn from a local EA doing really interesting and important work!

Kevin is a University of Melbourne graduate who studied a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Mechanical Engineering (2018). Nowadays, Kevin is a researcher at ALLFED (Alliance to Feed the Earth in Disasters), focusing on resilient food solutions for global catastrophes. He also works at High Impact Athletes, connecting athletes with effective charities.*

After the talk, there will be an opportunity for Q&A, so be sure to bring any burning career related questions! Light food and refreshments will be provided!
