This week we will be showing a Palestinian film, directed by trailblazing filmmaker Michel Khleifi: Tale of the Three Jewels (1995)! The first feature film to be shot entirely within the Gaza strip, the film follows 12-year-old Yussef: whilst navigating the hardships of an imprisoned father and Israeli occupation in the early '90s, Yussef meets Aida, a charismatic girl who poses a daunting challenge which leads him into an adventure. 💎 🇵🇸 💎
