We at the Philosophy Society would like to invite you to our Annual General Meeting for 2024! It will be taking place at 5:15pm on Wednesday the 11th of September, G07 of the Sidney Myer Asia Centre, and on zoom (https://unimelb.zoom.us/j/81778813982?pwd=EIwl20TmWb1Y1Nmf1bNkjZONaRjktH.1 Password: MUPS). We need a quorum of at least 20 University of Melbourne student members in order to stay open as a club, so it is very important that you come if it is at all possible, even if it is only online.
At the AGM you will have your chance to run for a position on the club committee, vote for next year’s committee, ask questions of the current committee to see what they’ve been up to and give suggestions for things the club can do in the future. The following positions will be up for election:
- President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Events Curator
- Social Media Manager
