Key Word Sign Basic Certification Workshop 2

This is a 1 day, 7-hour workshop where you will complete a basic training in Key Word Sign (KWS), which is used to encourage and support language development in children and adults with communication difficulties. You will learn a vocabulary of approximately 80 signs, understand more about how to use KWS, and learn more about augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Key Word Sign Victoria has generously offered to provide this training with their experienced presenters at discounted rate of more than 50% off!

We have 2 dates available for the basic training, which will be held during the mid-semester break:
> Monday, 23/9, 9:00AM-4:30PM, OR

> Thursday, 26/9, 9:00AM-4:30PM

Training will be held in the Alan Gilbert Building; specific room details to be announced later!

Each participant will receive a a personal hard copy of the ‘Getting Started with KWS’ manual (RRP $33).
