Steele Creek Reserve

Wildlife Conservation Society

Join the Wildlife Conservation Society and Soil and Plant Society at Moonee Valley Sustainability’s Steele Creek Working Bee!

The perfect chance to be on the ground improving the health of Melbourne’s waterways, the event will involve removing weeds and cleaning up the banks of Steele Creek in Melbs northwest. We will be participating in the first bio-weeding event along Steele Creek. This will involve planting a CSIRO-approved, natural and long-term biological control for Wandering Trad (weed), which currently threatens understory habitat along Steele Creek.

Register here to let us know you are coming and you can also check out the MVS Facebook event

We’ll meet outside Flinders St Station (outside the Elizabeth St tram stop for the 59 tram to Airport West) and travel there and back as a team. Otherwise, we'll meet you at Steele Creek Trail, 29 Rose Ave, Niddrie VIC 3042.

Keen as a bean!
