Thank you for your interest in hiring one of our venues.
We are currently taking bookings for the Union and Guild theatres up until May 31st, 2022.
Please note: Student Theatre Groups affiliated with Union House Theatre are given priority booking within the University of Melbourne Semester periods. Venue allocation for first semester occurs in October for the following year, while second semester allocation occurs in April of the current year. See the latest Venue Allocation information HERE.
A trained theatre worker is allocated as safety officer for each theatre. This worker is there to assist in the smooth setup and running of a production. At an additional fee, production assistance, vision, lighting or sound operators can also be provided.
The Union Theatre is a proscenium arch style venue with a large stage, house curtain, fly tower and refurbished auditorium with 374 seats and 7 wheelchair positions.
