MPavilion Parkville Participatory Arts Award

A new award established in 2024 that recognises an emerging artist from any discipline within the University of Melbourne UMSU student theatre community to encourage further development of their participatory or public arts practice.

MPavilion Parkville, part of the University of Melbourne’s Museums & Collections, will offer an award of $2500 and up to three 1:1 mentor sessions with the MPavilion Parkville Programming team throughout the following 12 months providing support and advice to help stage their next creative project at MPavilion Parkville.

Closing Date midnight, Sunday 13 October.

Electronic applications should consist of the following:

Eligibility:

  • Demonstrates their commitment to student theatre and performing arts activity on campus
  • Currently enrolled at the University, students who are graduating in 2024 are eligible to apply 
  • Has a clear idea of how their practice will be enriched by this opportunity
