Calling all digital creators and social media enthusiasts! At UMSU, we’re the hub of student engagement, connecting and energising our campus through a diverse range of media, events, and activities. We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Intern who's ready to dive into the dynamic world of digital storytelling and community engagement. If you're all about trending content, viral campaigns, and building a vibrant online community, we want you! 

Role Spotlight 

As our Social Media Intern, you’ll bring the UMSU voice to life online. You’ll team up with our creative Communications & Marketing squad, crafting content that’s as engaging as it is authentic.  

To Do’s: 

  • Take charge of our social channels – Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube. 
  • Create buzzworthy content that turns followers into fans. 
  • Dive into analytics, strategy, and reporting to keep our content fresh and relevant. 
  • Capture and share UMSU's most Insta-worthy moments. 
  • Collaborate to amplify UMSU's message across the digital landscape. 

Who We're Looking For 

  • A current University of Melbourne student with a passion for social media. 
  • A knack for storytelling and engaging content creation. 
  • A sharp eye for trends and a creative mindset.
