At the Piano Society, it is our goal to resurrect the piano scene at the University of Melbourne, and to provide a platform for those talented pianists to hone their craft and perform their art to others. If you are a pianist at Unimelb or other institutions, specialising in classical, contemporary or any other genre of music, this is the club for you!

Club Aims:

• To provide a platform for pianists on Parkville campus of all different levels and backgrounds to unite and develop meaningful connections with each other and encourage collaboration between pianists.
• To promote piano music and showcase its vast repertoire whilst establishing a piano scene at Parkville campus.
• To help pianists maintain and hone their piano-specific technical skills, musicianship and overall expertise in the instrument.
• To broaden the expanse of knowledge of members in the club by exploring the history of piano music and its various music periods/genres and composers/artists with the goal of deepening understanding and appreciation of different piano music.
