AWS Cloud Club


The AWS Cloud Club at the University of Melbourne is a student-led community for anyone interested in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and modern software systems. We aim to empower students with hands-on experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) through workshops, hackathons, certification study groups, and industry events. Our club connects like-minded peers across computer science, engineering, and business disciplines, creating opportunities to learn practical cloud skills, explore career pathways, and collaborate on innovative projects. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced user, the AWS Cloud Club provides a supportive environment to grow your knowledge and network.

Club Aims:

  • To provide the University community with hands-on opportunities to foster innovation and problem-solving by organising hackathons, cloud challenges, and group projects that apply AWS technologies to real-world scenarios.
  • To build students’ confidence in technology by delivering beginner-friendly, accessible, and easy-to-understand events that welcome members of all skill levels.
  • To connect students with industry professionals, AWS experts, and alumni through events, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities.
  • To support members in preparing for AWS certifications and cloud-related career pathways through structured guidance and peer support.
