Metaphysics and Divination Society

The Metaphysics and Divination Society is a student-led club dedicated to the educational and cultural exploration of Eastern and Western metaphysical traditions, including Bazi, Ziwei astrology, Tarot, and Western astrology. The society provides a structured and non-commercial environment for students to engage with these systems through discussions, workshops, and collaborative activities. By examining their historical, cultural, and interpretive aspects, the club aims to foster critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and reflective learning within the University of Melbourne community.

Clubs Aims:

• To provide structured learning opportunities on Eastern and Western metaphysical traditions, including but not limited to Bazi, Ziwei astrology, Tarot, and Western astrology.
• To examine the historical development and cultural significance of divination and metaphysical systems across different societies.
• To organise workshops and structured activities that introduce members to the symbolic systems and interpretive methods of selected metaphysical traditions in an educational context.
• To facilitate critical discussions on the interpretation, limitations, and cultural roles of metaphysical practices.
• To organise events and collaborative activities that engage the broader student community in cultural exploration and discussion.
