Fashion Society

This is a club that is currently seeking affiliation. If the club's affiliation is not finalised, any memberships purchased through the UMSU website will be refunded.

The Unimelb Fashion Society provides a platform for students to explore design, styling, and modeling through workshops and runway showcases. The society fosters inclusivity and innovation, connecting members with like-minded peers and industry opportunities while promoting self-expression and emerging talent within Melbourne’s vibrant fashion scene.

Club Aims:

  • To create a platform for students to design and experiment with original fashion concepts through collaborative creative projects, workshops, and exhibitions.
  • To connect students with a community centred on fashion as an artistic and cultural medium, encouraging them to explore the nexus between garment and visual storytelling.
  • To provide opportunities for students to present and display their work through runway shows, lookbooks, and creative publications.
  • To facilitate collaboration between students interested in fashion design, photography and modeling to produce fashion-related creative projects.
