Welcome to Unimelb’s official student furry community! 

At its most fundamental level, the furry community revolves around an interest in anthropomorphic animal characters, sprinkled with hints of artistic, queer, and identity expression. Even after enduring years of misinformation and harmful labeling, furries remain an ever-growing phenomenon across the globe!

Join us in Parkville for regular social events and furry-related crafts workshops. Whether you want to meet other furries within the university, learn how to create your own “fursona”, or simply experience the furry community for yourself without leaving the comfort of unimelb - we’ve got you covered!

Club Aims:

• To provide a safe and inclusive space for the University of Melbourne student furry community to safely express themselves and their identity.
• To educate university students on commonly misunderstood aspects of furry culture.
• To promote furry culture and expression within the University of Melbourne student community.
• To facilitate various forms of furry creative expression and the expression of identity through artistic and craft-based activities.
