AI Prototyping Studio (AIPS) is a student-run product studio at the University of Melbourne. We provide a platform where students from diverse backgrounds come together to build real products. Have a startup idea but can't code? Need a designer for your prototype? Looking for a developer who understands your domain? AIPS connects you with cross-disciplinary teammates and provides hands-on support: from PRDs and UI design to architecture and deployment. No technical background required. Using our structured Vibe Coding methodology, you'll ship working prototypes — not slide decks. Bring your idea. Find your team. Ship it.

Club Aims:

To provide the University population with a hands-on environment where students can learn to translate conceptual problems into functional digital prototypes using generative AI and natural-language "vibe coding" workflows.
To bridge the technical experience gap for students from non-technical backgrounds by teaching accessible AI-assisted design and development techniques.
To investigate and promote the ethical use of generative AI in software creation, focusing on transparency, attribution, and responsible prototyping practices.
To foster professional networking opportunities by connecting students with industry leaders and companies at the forefront of the AI and rapid-prototyping ecosystem.
