What Youth Think is a student-led think tank that amplifies youth perspectives on pressing sociopolitical and economic issues. Through research-publications and events, it empowers students to engage critically with policy and public discourse. The organisation fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, equipping members with analytical and communication skills while creating a platform for young voices to influence conversations and drive meaningful change.

Club Aims:

  • To provide an accessible way for students at the University to work on policy-based projects, develop research, analysis and advocacy ability, and connect with other like-minded individuals or organisations.
  • To conduct rigorous, youth-led research that informs policy and addresses the mounting challenges faced by young people.
  • To cultivate the next generation of public policy leaders by providing comprehensive training in policy and research skills and direct mentorship to young people.
  • To deliver engaging events that connect young people with experts, policymakers, and like-minded peers that together foster real-world policy impact.
  • Provide an interdisciplinary space where students interested in policy, research and youth advocacy to connect with each other, socialise and generate relationships with like-minded people outside of their degrees.
