State Schools’ Relief - UniMelb Chapter is a student-led organisation dedicated to supporting Victorian government school students experiencing financial hardship. With the official support of State Schools’ Relief, the club raises funds and awareness on campus to provide essential items such as school uniforms, footwear, and learning resources. We offer students opportunities to engage in meaningful volunteering, develop practical skills, and connect with like-minded peers passionate about educational equity. Through fundraising events and collaborative initiatives, our mission is to empower students to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people across Victoria.

Club Aims:

  • To establish a presence for State Schools' Relief on campus, spreading the message and promoting the mission of State Schools' Relief.
  • To engage UniMelb students in on-campus fundraising activities and events for State Schools' Relief.
  • To present opportunities for like-minded UniMelb students to socialise and cooperate in their passion for supporting Victorian families facing financial hardship in the Government school system.
  • To provide valuable experiences and skill development for UniMelb students in actively working to provide government school students with new uniforms, footwear and educational resources, including learning devices.
