Card & Mind Magic Society

This is a club that is currently seeking affiliation. If the club's affiliation is not finalised, any memberships purchased through the UMSU website will be refunded.

Deck & Mind Magic Society is a student-led community at the University of Melbourne for anyone interested in magic, from beginners to experienced performers. Focusing on card magic, mentalism, and performance, the club provides a space to learn, practise, and share skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Members can explore creativity, build confidence, and connect with like-minded peers through workshops, casual sessions, and performances, making magic both accessible and engaging.

Club Aims:

  • Promote the appreciation and understanding of magic and illusion among students and the wider community.   
  • Provide opportunities for members to learn, practice, and improve their magic skills through regular meetings, workshops, and peer learning.
  • Create a supportive community for magic enthusiasts to share ideas, collaborate, and exchange knowledge about magic performance and creativity.
  • Organise performances, demonstrations, and events to showcase magic as a form of entertainment and creative expression.
