The Actuarial Students’ Society aims to continuously add value to both our sponsors and our members. To achieve our mission, the Society organises a wide variety of events, in particular, our Sponsors’ Development Workshops, Information Sessions and Contact Night. In addition, our annual publication Vision contains profiles of many Actuarial employers, and we keep our members up to date with industry opportunities via Facebook and e-mails.
Social activities such as Trivia Night, Pool Night, Poker Night, Student Mixer, and Peer Mentoring events, including Ice Skating and BBQs, are also organised to give our members the opportunity to mingle, have fun, and build a strong network at the same time.
Club Aims
To facilitate contact between students in the Faculty of Economics & Commerce undertaking Actuarial studies, as well as representing student interests, needs, and demands to the Faculty and the Centre for Actuarial Studies. It will liaise between students and faculty members to ensure that student interests and rights are promoted.
