Welcome to the University of Melbourne Bangladeshi Students Society page. Founded in 2018, MUBSS is the place to be for all things Bangladeshi at our uni! The goal of the club is simple: to unite all the Bangladeshis here at the University of Melbourne and to show everyone just how wonderful Bangladesh truly is.

Nestled right in the middle of the Indian subcontinent, Bangladesh is a country known for its vibrant culture, amazing people and its oh-so-delicious food. So, come experience all this at our plethora of events first-hand; minus all the traffic jam.

Club Aims

  1. To unite all Bangladeshi students at the University and provide them with a platform
  2. To showcase the Bangladeshi culture to the rest of the University; giving them the opportunity to understand and embrace them
  3. To provide support and be a voice for Bangladeshi students of the University
  4. To celebrate events relevant to the Bangladeshi culture and provide support to fellow students.
  5. To act as a reference point to first-year Bangladeshi students of the University.
