CastOn Charity Group

We're a craft focused group which raises funds for charity through selling the creations our members make. Materials are provided, you don't need to know how to knit, sew or crochet, we'll teach you!

 

Welcome! We’re a craft focused group which raises funds for charity through selling the creations our members make. Materials are provided and anyone can join – you don’t need to know how to knit, sew or crochet, we’ll teach you! All crafts are welcome and feel free to bring along your own projects to our crafting sessions or just drop by for a chat.

Our weekly workshops on campus are held every Tuesday 11am-2pm. Join us on Discord or Facebook to keep up to date with any announcements and workshop locations. We also provide pizza every week!

All enquiries and suggestions are most welcome!

Club Aims:

  1. To engage in craft-related activities: Members have the chance to explore creativity and learn new skills.
  2. To share knowledge: Members can share their experience with craft-related activities, and learn from peers.
  3. To raise funds for worthy causes: Funds can be raised via selling of crafted items, special events, collaborations, raffle tickets, etc.
  4. To be part of the community: Help people to socialise and make new friends. With our different projects throughout the year, Cast On Charity Group also helps contribute to those in need within the wider community.
