The Melbourne University Drawing and Painting Club (DPC) unites students interested in visual and graphic arts. As a collective of artists who work with mediums ranging from watercolour to digital drawing, we welcome all enthusiasts of any background, interest, or skill level. Regular workshops are held throughout the semester so members can learn, create, inspire, connect and improve.

Club Aims

  1. To connect like-minded people who are interested in drawing and painting.
  2. To provide a regular place for students to paint and draw together and to share their views about hard by organising a variety of drawing workshops.
  3. To promote different types of drawing and painting such as watercolour painting, pencil sketching, digital art and other creative forms of art.
  4. To help students relieve stress through drawing and painting.
  5. To spark students’ creativity and imagination.
