Join our exciting volunteer tutoring club, where we help mentor and tutor disadvantaged high school students. We run events all year round, raising awareness and advocating for education equality!

Embrace Education is a non-profit, university student-run organisation that offers free educational support to disadvantaged high school students in Melbourne, Victoria. We help connect club members to high school students who are in need of tutoring and mentoring. We believe that education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. This organisation believes in eradicating education inequality and advocates wholeheartedly for, not only education for all, but also those most impacted by this social injustice, such as marginalised communities and peoples.

The University of Melbourne Chapter became associated with UMSU in 2017. It has since grown to a beautiful community of like-minded tutors and non-tutors, who wish to make a difference to the world. Our student club aims to support our tutors and students we help and advocate for. It also aims to create events which build a sense of community and instil passion for education to its members and to the wider community. We believe in lifelong learning and the gift of community wisdom and knowledge.
