MUnGAis a very active club and has always boasted a good working relationship with UMSU - the Student Union on campus - to provide large scale and diverse events whilst celebrating Hellenism

 

Welcome to the Melbourne University Greek Association (MUnGA)! MUnGA has a long and rich history at the University of Melbourne, as the first Greek University Association formed in Australia . MUnGA is a club for all Hellenes and philhellenes, which aims to promote Greek culture, language, history and traditions at the University of Melbourne, as well as bring together individuals who are interested in and passionate about Hellenism. Club Aims:

  1. To foster pride in Hellenic Heritage amongst the students of Hellenic descent.
  2. To further Greek culture and tradition at the University of Melbourne.
  3. To educate interested students by promoting and teaching the Greek Language.
  4. To bring together people of Hellenic descent.
  5. To bring closer the Hellenes and the philhellenes of the University of Melbourne.
  6. To support the promotion of ancient and modern Greek history.
