We are part of Habitat for Humanity, an international not-for-profit which began as a grassroots promote safe housing and help on volunteer build trips!

Habitat for Humanity is a global non-profit organisation that builds homes for the less fortunate. Here at our University of Melbourne chapter we organise fund-raising events and development trips to support the needs of the community. We primarily work with Habitat for Humanity Victoria but also participate in work all across Australia.

We have events all year round for everyone!

Club Aims:

  1. Support the Habitat for Humanity goal of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our focus is low-income families in Victoria and across Australia.
  2. Work on local affiliate projects to build new homes as well as rehabilitate existing homes.
  3. Hold and participate in events to raise funds, create awareness, increase publicity, provide volunteer opportunities and recruit new members.
  4. Help nurture a culture of volunteerism and community service among students at The University of Melbourne.
