A non-profit organisation for Indonesians studying at UniMelb, aiming to be the social and cultural representative of Indonesia in Australia


Indonesian Students Association is a student-led organization aiming to build a community of Indonesian students in Australia. We are concerned with assisting the welfare of Indonesian students, as well as building a solid support network. At the same time, we are the social and cultural representative of Indonesia in Australia.

Club Vision: To create a shared sense of community amongst Indonesian students at The University of Melbourne.

Club Mission: 

  • Deliver member-centered events that cater to the social, educational and professional needs of members
  • Strengthen existing and build new partnerships with corporations and organizations to enhance scope and impact
  • Maintain a professional and familiar working environment between committee members

Club Aims:

  1. To maintain communication and fellowship amongst all Indonesian Students at the University of Melbourne.
  2. To establish relationships with groups representing other cultures as well as clubs or those who are interested in broadening their views about Indonesia.
  3. To provide a forum for Indonesian students and a channel of communication between Indonesian students and University bodies and other groups.
  4. To provide Information about social and academic life at Melbourne University to potential students in Indonesia.
  5. To help newly arrived Indonesian students in adapting to the new culture and environment.
