A non-profit organisation for Indonesians studying at UniMelb, aiming to be the social and cultural representative of Indonesia in Australia

 

Indonesian Students Association is a student-led organization aiming to build a community of Indonesian students in Australia. We are concerned with assisting the welfare of Indonesian students, as well as building a solid support network. At the same time, we are the social and cultural representative of Indonesia in Australia.

Club Vision: To cultivate a tightly-knit community and elevate the university experience for Indonesian students at the University of Melbourne.

Club Mission: 

  • Curating a portfolio of member-centric events tailored to address members' social, educational, and professional needs, resulting in tangible and lasting impact
  • Fostering a dynamic and nurturing work environment for sustainable organizational growth.
  • Forging supportive and symbiotic partnerships with external parties, that synergize with our organizational objectives.

Club Aims:

  1. To maintain communication and fellowship amongst all Indonesian Students at the University of Melbourne.
  2. To establish relationships with groups representing other cultures as well as clubs or those who are interested in broadening their views about Indonesia.
  3. To provide a forum for Indonesian students and a channel of communication between Indonesian students and University bodies and other groups.
  4. To provide information about social and academic life at Melbourne University to potential students in Indonesia.
  5. To help newly arrived Indonesian students adapt to the new culture and environment.
