Let’s Talk Conversation Group

At Let’s Talk, we aim to bring together students from various ethnic backgrounds, and promote appreciation and exchange of cultures while forging wonderful friendships. It is a great way for international and domestic students alike to interact and converse about interesting cultural topics during our weekly events, where we have great food and games. Let’s Talk is well known for holding fun events like picnics, BBQs, hiking trips, paintballing and many more!

Club Aims:

1. To provide an opportunity for international students to practice their English conversation skills with the help of local students.
2. To provide a place for cross-cultural and cross-language learning .
3. To  break down language, cultural and social barriers between local and international students and encourage greater interaction between them.
4. To encourage more social networking opportunities for international students and help them feel less isolated.
5. To provide social networking opportunities for post-graduate international students – owing to the high emphasis on independent research, post-graduate students can go through their whole degrees without meeting a lot of their fellow students.
