We're an un-auditioned a cappella pop choir with weekly rehearsals. It's a great way to meet fantastic people and practise your vocals. If you're enthusiastic about singing, this is the club for you!

Ring of Choir is a fun, casual, un-auditioned acapella choir. We sing pop-acapella, with weekly rehearsals and semi-regular performances/workshops. Some highlights of the past years include: flash-mobs, performing at UniMelb Open Day, competing in the state finals of Vocal Australia’s Aus-Aca national acapella championship, and annual Ring of Choir camps.

It’s a great opportunity to have fun, meet fantastic people, and practise your singing. You don’t need to be able to read music or be a fantastic singer, as long as you’re enthusiastic about acapella singing.

Club Aims:

  1. To provide a safe, enjoyable space for people wanting to sing contemporary acapella.
  2. To facilitate engagement and resilience through singing and music.
  3. To provide an opportunity for students to practice, perform, and have a good time together.
  4. To provide a space for people to practice conducting a choir, arranging music, and improvising vocally.
