Tabletop Gaming Society is a club dedicated to board games, card games and roleplaying. We run weekly boardgame sessions on Fridays from Noon until 4:30 pm, at Science Gallery, located at Melbourne Connect on Swanston Street, (just across the road from campus). We also run DnD sessions every Thursday from 12pm until 5pm(ish). Our events include introduction to gaming nights, competitions and more. Join our Facebook group or Discord server, (linked below) for regular updates, for organising new role playing groups, community posts and more.

Club Aims:

  1. To promote gaming amongst Melbourne University students.
  2. To encourage social interaction between Melbourne University gamers.
  3. To expose roleplayers to different systems of roleplaying and educate them on how these systems run, so that members can participate and broaden their roleplaying knowledge.
  4. To encourage social interaction between Melbourne University gamers and off-campus gamers.
  5. To encourage club members to participate in roleplaying & gaming tournaments and freeforms.
  6. To hold its own events that bring in new players, improve the abilities of players, allow players to compete against each other and promote playing in roleplaying, Gaming and freeforms.

TGS Week - Blood on the Clocktower Evening
26th March 6pm - 9:30pm

Join us for an evening of social deduction as you either try to rid the village of the evil demon, or help the demon in their quest for survival. Players of all experience, including first-timers, are welcome!
TGS Week - Alternate-RPGs Evening
27th March 5:30pm - 9:30pm

An evening where you can play in an alternate-rpg, from the sci-fi future, to the modern present, and Lovecraftian past. All of the offered alternate-rpg systems will be taught at the event, so no prior experience is required.
TGS Week - Jackbox and Tournament
28th March 10am - 5pm
Sidney Myer Building - Ground Floor
In the first half of the event you can join us to play a range of Jackbox Party Pack games, and after that, compete in a board game tournament for a range of prizes!
TGS Week - Trivia at the Clyde Hotel
28th March 5:30pm - 9:30pm
The Clyde Hotel
Join us at the Clyde Hotel for our trivia night! This night is always a lot of fun, as you will answer a range of questions related to tabletop gaming. Small nibbles are included!
