“Empowered women empower women”

This is the statement that we at Women in Commerce and Politics live by. WCP is built upon the core principle of empowering women in the fields of commerce and politics, both in academia and industry. We aim to create a community of women that facilitate opportunities for each other through a diverse range of events and workshops. These engagements offer members the opportunity to hear from and interact with industry professionals to develop their skills and knowledge in these domains whilst becoming part of a community that encourages growth.

Club Aims:

  • To provide a pathway between female identifying students of commerce and/or politics and industry professionals.
  • To help build skills essential to boost employment opportunities and success of female identifying students in the areas of commerce and politics.
  • To build a strong community of female identifying students that strive for academic excellence.
  • To amplify women’s voices in areas of commerce and politics by providing a safe and inclusive environment to express ideas.
