‘Indian Graduate Researchers Society (InGReS)’ is a student  community of graduate research students from India. As a social and professional group, our aim is to provide a platform for cohesive bonding within the Indian community at the University. At InGReS, you will have the opportunity to interact with fellow graduate research students and other early career graduate researchers, attend various cultural and professional events throughout the year, and participate in networking opportunities to enhance your student experience at UoM. So please join us , collaborate on events and activities  while creating wonderful memories.

Aims:

  1. To enhance the academic and professional life of Indian/ Persons of Indian origin graduate research students and early career researchers(ECRs) at The University of Melbourne.
  2. To enhance social interaction and promote the welfare of fellow graduate students and early career researchers within the group.
  3. To act as a university-wide representative group of graduate research students of Indian origin.
  4. To provide mentorship to interested students from masters or undergraduate programs interested in pursuing doctoral programs at the University of Melbourne or elsewhere.
