We aim to provide our members with opportunities to better understand and apply their knowledge of Business Analytics, both in class and in the real world.

Founded in 2025 in conjunction with the introduction of the Business Analytics major in the Bachelor of Commerce, Business Analytics Students Society (BASS) is a society that brings together like-minded students to create a supportive network that can educate, strengthen and thrive. 

Throughout the year, BASS will host events that connect a diverse range of students, educate them on the discipline of Business Analytics, apply their knowledge and technical skills and help bridge the gap between them and the industry.

Club Aims:

  • To foster a supportive environment for Business Analytics students through social events, study groups, and peer networking.
  • To provide workshops, seminars, and discussions to deepen students' knowledge in Business Analytics, including emerging areas like fintech and machine learning.
  • To host events that connect students with researchers and industry professionals, offering insights into real-world applications and career pathways.
  • To advocate for the interests of Business Analytics students within the Faculty and University, and support their academic and career development through resources, sponsorships, and employer engagement.
