Radiology and Medical Imaging

The Radiology and Medical Imaging Club at the University of Melbourne is the first student-led society dedicated to exploring all areas of radiology. We welcome students from diverse disciplines, including medicine, biomedical science, neuroscience, physics, medical physics, radiography, etc. Through hands-on workshops, casual meetups, and networking events, we create a space where everyone can explore medical imaging and connect with like-minded peers. Our free membership is open to all students curious about radiology, from undergraduates discovering the field to postgraduates advancing their expertise. By connecting students with industry experts and each other, we aim to inspire future professionals, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and make a meaningful impact on medical imaging's future.

Club Aims:

  • To create a supportive and inclusive community for students interested in radiology, medical imaging, and related fields at the University.
  • To provide academic and professional development opportunities through workshops, seminars, and networking events with researchers, clinicians, and industry experts.

  • To raise awareness and understanding of radiology’s role in modern healthcare through student-led initiatives, public lectures, and collaborative projects.

  •  To encourage interdisciplinary engagement by collaborating with clubs and departments in medicine, engineering, and science to explore innovations in imaging technologies.
