Event Description

Mob Morning Circle*

27/05/2026–27/05/2026
8:30 AM–11:00 AM
Ida Bar
University of Melbourne Student Union

You're warmly invited to Mob Morning Circle, a dedicated gathering for First Nations students and staff during Reconciliation Week.

Come together over coffee, tea, and pastries while we screen highlights and behind the scenes content from the Walk for Truth journey. Travis Lovett, a proud Kerrupmara Gunditjmara man and Executive Director of the University of Melbourne's Centre for Truth Telling and Dialogue, will be dropping in virtually with a dedicated message for you.

At 11am, there will be an option to head over to the Amphitheatre to watch a live stream of the Walk for Truth arriving at Parliament House in Canberra, set up exclusively for UMSU. From there, the day continues with a curated First Nations film program, a Placemaking and Truth Telling panel, and a guided walk around campus. Stop in for a yarn or stay for the full day.

*This is a closed gathering for First Nations students, staff and community.
