Ida Bar
UMSU People of Colour

Brought to you by the SSAF

Join us for an evening of conversation, food, and community at Ida Bar as UMSU's People of Colour department launch the 5th instalment of the Racism at the University of Melbourne Report. These annual reports are the sole source of truth for first hand student experiences with racism at the University and serve as an integral part of student voice in Anti-Racist advocacy.

Listen in to a live podcast recording featuring special guests Cr Mohamed Semra, Mayor of the city of Maribyrnong and Mohamed Hadi, former UMSU PoC Officer the author of the first Racism at the University of Melbourne Report.

Be guided through important questions like "What does it mean to be Anti-Racist?" "What role to people in positions power play?" and "What does constructing Anti-Racist Environments mean?" as hosts Anyang Wal (People of Colour Officer) and Lushy Chinganya (UMSU President) lead this earnest and poignant conversation.
