UMSU Union House Theatre

Brought to you by the SSAF

Dance on campus has a long and rich history in large part due to Guild Dance Theatre who were active in the 1980s and 1990s in the old Union House Building.

Aspiring dancers from faculties as broad as Engineering, Medicine and Creative Arts, found like-minded friends and discovered themselves and a love of movement.

The stories of connection and community are as central to Guild Dance Theatre, as to the prolific work that was made.

Over the duration of UHT’s Guild Fringe dance festival, see snippets of footage and film form the archive on the digital screens throughout the Arts and Cultural building at Parkville.

Curated by Arabella Frahn-Starkie.
