CISSA X GMC Game Jam

For the first time ever, ✨ CISSA and GMC ✨ are collaborating to bring you a competition that’s a little more than just a standard hackathon! Whether you’re completely new to game development 🎯 or already an indie dev in the making 👾, our GameJam is the perfect opportunity for you to develop your skill with an engine 🚓, compete for prizes 🎁, and hear directly from reps straight out of Australia’s own video game industry 📣!

🗓️ Date: Friday, 7th March - Thursday, 13th March (submissions will close on Tuesday, 11th)
📍 Location: Arts West Forum Theatre (Opening and Closing Ceremony will both take place in Forum Theatre)
🎉 Opening Ceremony Time: 6:30pm-8pm

The theme of the competition will be announced at the opening ceremony 🎊! Until then, keep your eyes peeled for announcements on our discord server 👀 where you can vote for the theme!

All contestants are welcome to join us on campus over the weekend for in-person collaboration + receiving feedback 👯‍♀️. We encourage you to come by to play each others games 🎮!

If you have no experience in game dev, don’t stress 😮‍💨! We’ll be hosting workshops leading up to the event that will arm you with all the fundamentals you need to get started 🦾. Stay on the lookout for announcements in the very near future!
