Ida Unplugged is the chillest live music event on campus.

Amaya Perera is many things, singer-songwriter being her favourite. Based in Naarm/Melbourne, Amaya draws on her Sri Lankan roots, incorporating themes and motifs from her culture with the mediums of pop tracks and piano ballads. Crafting narratives about self, people, and place, she draws heavily on emotion and storytelling.

While she has notably featured on multiple pop and EDM tracks, this is the start of her own journey as a long-time writer. Her music aims to connect with anyone and everyone, with their emotions and stories, in a space of understanding and joy.
