Speed Friending is here to help you find your people.

Meeting new people at uni isn't always easy, and Speed Friending is here to make it simple. No awkward small talk. Settle into Ida Bar's relaxed, low-key setting and let our professional facilitators do the heavy lifting, with bingo cards and conversation prompts designed to get the chat flowing from the first minute.

You don't need to come with a plan, a topic, or even a friend - just show up. This is a genuinely easy way to meet a handful of new faces, tick off a few bingo squares, and walk away with some new names in your phone.

First to call BINGO claims a prize, so make sure to come on down for the upper hand at winning both prizes and new friends

🎟️ RSVP required for a guaranteed spot. Walk-ins welcome if space allows.

This event will be held at a licensed venue, and will include alcohol service for attendees aged 18+ only. UMSU is committed to the safe and responsible use and service of alcohol at our events.
