We’re your student union — and we’d love to introduce ourselves.

Over two days in Porters Lane Plaza, we’ll be popping up with a few of our departments at a time. Come by for a chat and get to know who we are and what we do.

UMSU (the University of Melbourne Student Union) is a student-led organisation that represents and advocates for diverse student communities while running events, workshops, and campaigns to help you connect, have fun, and make the most of uni life.

Whether you’re an international student, a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, concerned about the environment, or just really invested in your education, there’s a department that represents you! So come along and say hi, meet your reps, and warm up to your union.
