Australian Wall Street AGM

The AGM will be delivered in the order of our agenda with a summary of the year and a new committee election will take place. Please attend the meeting on time as time is limited and we encourage all members to participate in the election process.

Election of the 2026 committee
During the AGM, all of the committee positions will be opened for re-election. All members are entitled to nominate themselves for the 2025 committee positions, these include:
1. President
2. Vice-President
3. Treasurer
4. Secretary
5. Events Director
6. Marketing Director
7. Sponsorship Director
8. Logistics Director

Nominations could also be made during the election process. If you would like to nominate yourself for any of the above positions before the AGM, you can email the Returning Officer yixiaow5@student.unimelb.edu.au (President 2026 -- YIXIAO WANG) by 11:59 pm (AEST), 10th of September. Please do not send emails to the club's email in regards to nominations.
All nominees must:
1. Be current students at the University of Melbourne, and
2. Be members of Australian Wall Street who plan to continue study in 2027

Members may nominate themselves for a maximum of two positions.
All nominees will be given the opportunity to make a short speech (speech
must be presented in English). Voting will take place at the conclusion of
all nominees’ speeches for each position.
(Note: If the election for a nominee’s first preference occurs after that of the
second preference, and they are successful for both roles, the nominee will be
allocated their first preference and the candidate with the second-most votes for the other position will be successful.)
