Welcome to COSDU's Week 7 Session

✨  Living Chastity and Purity in Our Life  ✨

As young Catholics, how do we express our affection in a pure way when we become attracted to the opposite sex?

Living a chaste and pure life gives us joy and peace, but in today's society young people face many obstacles when it comes to sins of the flesh, worldly desires and short-term satisfaction. This talk will help us see the beauty of purity in our thoughts, words, and deeds, and live a chaste life centred on the teachings of Jesus.

Our guest speaker is Father Peter Fitzsimons, Catholic Chaplain at the University of Melbourne and formal commercial lawyer. Fr. Peter is an Opus Dei priest with a doctorate in moral theology.

💒 The night will start at 5:30pm with mass in St Mary's Chapel

🍚 Dinner will be at 6:20pm next door in St Mary's West Hall

🎤 Followed by a talk by Fr. Peter Fitzsimons on Living Chastity and Purity in Our Life

Can't wait to see you there!

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies.” - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
