WattHack 2023

13/07/2023 - 14/07/2023 10am - 7pm

Telstra Creator Space, Melbourne Connect

Electrical Engineering Club

Feeling crafty and have no means for implementing? Or are you just looking for a fun project to do?

Our two-day makeathon, WattHack 2023, is where you can rack your brain and work with others to bring your amazing ideas to life with an emphasis on reusing parts from e-waste! The event is fully catered and with cash prizes to be won there’s plenty at stake (stay tuned for more!).

The event is open to engineering students across all year levels from undergrad to postgrad.

If you are a beginner to practical workshops, that is completely fine! We will be running an Arduino crash course workshop in collaboration with MUBES leading up to WattHack to get you up to speed with everything Arduino you need to know! Stay up to date with our socials as more details are to come!

If you want to see what WattHack would look like, you can see the photos from last year's WattHack here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1--2F14IDu5E_i8ZzWt7hFeZBTtM0heYL?fbclid=IwAR0380kz1tEzImqgvwAH9BGrlVhcXTnMNptL0tG-eLlKuhDXtqAFJl0yqXA
